Once you have downloaded the CoverMe Medical App and registered your professional details, you will get access to the CoverMe network of APHRA approved and registered specialists.

To get started you will need to:

  1. Add your current worklist – in a private and secure environment, only visible to you and those you may have delegated authority to (e.g. your Practice Manager).
  2. Add your contacts – invite your existing contacts to the CoverMe Medical network and sort them into preferred, standard or blocked categories.
  3. Request Cover – swipe the worklist item that you require cover on and receive a notification response within minutes.
  4. Make an offer on a new theatre list?– see new work opportunities posted by Surgeons and make an offer immediately!

What features does CoverMe include?
  • Simple and convenient to use. Simply swipe the worklist to request and accept cover with ease, while you are at work or on-the-go.
  • Access to a network beyond your existing contacts. Having visibility and accessibility to work requests means you have a greater capacity for the network of specialised clinicians to respond to demand.
  • Delegate Authority.?By authorising your Practice Manager to access your worklist, they can act on your behalf and manage your requests.
  • Customisable. While the App has been designed by a Medical Specialist for Medical Specialists, you can customise and manage your own work preferences including specialities, regions, contacts and notification settings.
  • Referrals and Endorsements. Help build the network within your specified region/s by inviting a colleague. The more invites sent, the greater the network and the greater the opportunity.
  • Notifications. Don?t miss out on available work opportunities or updates to an existing worklist. You will receive a notification (as much or as little as you want) of any updates or changes as they happen, so you are always kept on the loop!
  • Privacy Protected. We understand the importance of keeping your personal information private and have put in place the necessary security measures to ensure that your privacy is protected in accordance with the Privacy Act.
  • Feedback tool. Your input is valued and can shape the future of CoverMe Medical. For this reason we have built an automated bug identifier and feedback tool, all available from within the App.
